Patrick Naim is the founder of Elseware, a consulting and software firm specializing in operational risk modelling. He is the co-author of Operational Risk Modelling in Financial Services (Wiley, 2020) and the creator of the XOI method, a structured framework for quantifying scenario-based risks. Patrick advises major financial institutions on scenario design, model development, and risk governance. His work builds on over three decades of experience in modelling, including early contributions to AI spanning neural networks (co-author of a 1989 book, later published in English by Macmillan) and Bayesian networks (Wiley, 2008). He is currently exploring the use of AI to industrialise the challenge process in scenario analysis through the development of TrustAgent. He regularly speaks at international risk management events.
